Council Officers

Church officers shall be the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. The President, Secretary and Treasurer shall be designated as trustees as well as members of the Church Council. To be eligible for office a person must be a member of the Congregational Assembly. The President, Vice-President, or their designated Ministry Council member shall preside at all Congregation Assembly meetings. President

The President shall preside at the Voters' Assembly and the Church Council, and shall exercise care that the meetings are conducted in an orderly Christian manner. He shall conduct the meetings according to accepted parliamentary rules. He shall be an ex-officio member of all boards and be responsible for ensuring that all elected or appointed officers, boards and committees function and carry out their duties and responsibilities.  

Barbara Williamson
Vice President

The Vice President shall perform the duties of the President in that officer's absence or when the President so requests. The Vice President shall serve as the Chairperson of Parish Information Committee and be the Information Resource Person and Congregational Public Relations Officer.

 

Angela Grandberry
Treasurer

The Treasurer shall receive all congregational funds, issue records therefore, and deposit them in the corporate name of the Congregation in a bank designated by the Voters' Assembly.  

Carla Calhoun
Recording Secretary

The Recording Secretary shall attend to the correspondence of the Congregation, except pastoral letters, and keep copies of such correspondence.
